John's life experiences include lengthy periods as a student, army conscript, and teacher/coordinator/administrator in public and private secondary schools in Vic, SA, the UK and Indonesia. He has also been self employed as a Systems Analyst/Computer Software Engineer.  More recently John has been employed as a student teacher supervisor for Flinders University, completed studies in the Financial Services sector (Financial Planning and Mortgage Broking) and worked as a Sales Consultant with the Professionals Real Estate group and now at Westside Realty Pty Ltd, Henley Beach.

Over the years John has been in regular contact with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures and counts amongst his friends people from India, Sri Lanka, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Lithuania, Latvia and others from Europe and Eastern Europe.  Working in a Real Estate environment has allowed him to continue to enjoy interacting with individuals and families across the wide spectrum of modern multicultural Australia.  John believes that having had the opportunity to work with, live with, and socialize with people from varied backgrounds has been a great gift and, from a real estate perspective, enabled him to successfully bring sellers and buyers together to negotiate excellent outcomes for his clients.  And he particularly derives great pleasure and satisfaction when given the opportunity to help those who might be struggling with the decision or need sell and downsize due to ill health or issues of mobility.
